Purpose of Processing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We process personal data for the following purposes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Delivery and administration of our services<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Compliance with statutory obligations (e.g. the Accounting Act, the Anti-Money Laundering Act)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Customer due diligence (KYC) and identity verification<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Communication with clients and business partners<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Invoicing, contract management and client administration<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>IT operations, security and quality assurance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Marketing to existing clients<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Improvement of websites and digital solutions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Legal Basis for Processing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Processing of personal data is based on Article 6 of the GDPR:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Contract (Art. 6(1)(b))<\/strong> \u2013 necessary for the performance of a contract or to take steps prior to entering into a contract<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c))<\/strong> \u2013 for example, obligations under the Anti-Money Laundering Act or the Accounting Act<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f))<\/strong> \u2013 such as business operations, IT security and client communication<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Consent (Art. 6(1)(a))<\/strong> \u2013 for marketing activities and the use of non-essential cookies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>You may withdraw your consent at any time via our website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5. Sharing of Personal Data<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We only share personal data when necessary and lawful:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Public authorities:<\/strong> such as the Norwegian Tax Administration, the Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway, and \u00d8kokrim (the Norwegian National Authority for Investigation and Prosecution of Economic and Environmental Crime)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Subcontractors\/data processors:<\/strong> for example IT operations, cloud services (Microsoft 365), and any providers assisting with mail handling or administrative services<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Other companies within the Acconor group:<\/strong> when necessary to deliver a service you have requested<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>All data processors are bound by data processing agreements and are not permitted to use the data for their own purposes.<br>We never sell personal data to third parties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">6. Transfer to Third Countries<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>As a general rule, personal data is processed within the EEA.<br>If personal data is transferred outside the EEA (for example through cloud services), such transfers are carried out in accordance with Chapter V of the GDPR, typically by using the European Commission\u2019s Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">7. Storage and Deletion<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by law:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Accounting data:<\/strong> 5 years after the end of the financial year<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>KYC information:<\/strong> 5 years after the end of the client relationship<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Other client data:<\/strong> deleted or anonymised once the purpose has been fulfilled<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">8.
